Monday Moodboards-April 27th 2020
I don't know about you but the weeks seem to be whizzing by. Yes, it all feels very strange and when I really sit down and think about it I get a bit freaked out but I can't believe we're already in week 6 of lockdown. I've been keeping myself busy, setting myself lots of different creative projects and finding the time to research new props and tableware bit and pieces- (one of the big perks of more time at my laptop at the moment!). I can't wait to share with you all what I've been working on in the upcoming months but in the meantime, I have a new Monday moodboard for you with some of my most recent finds. I'd also love to see some of your table set ups from home during the lockdown, if you've made the time to set up a special dinner or used those fancy plates?!- tag me on Insta!

1 . Vintage Glassware - this week I've been scouring the pages of Ebay, looking for glasses. The trick with Ebay is to have a pretty good picture of what it is you're looking for before you start scrolling and to narrow down the search in as many descriptive words as you can. These beautiful vintage amber sherry glasses and wine glasses were Ebay finds and I bought both sets for under £20 total. You can also find some really nice pink depression glass items on Ebay too - depression glass was distributed at really low cost through the United States and Canada during The Great Depression and now the pink and amber depression glass items are quite valuable.
I bought the amber glasses on the moodboard above but have included some equivalent finds on Ebay and Etsy below. (Just double check where you are buying them from as with lots of items listed in the States, you can end up paying a lot in postage!)

2. Other Glassware - pink water glasses and gold dipped wine glasses

3. Linens - bold beautiful linens from The Conran Shop to make a statement

4. Plates

5. Cutlery - these are a little on the spenny side but I'm in love with the tortoise shell handles. I think any patterned or fun cutlery would work well in this palette.

6. Candles - Some more gorgeous colours from Ester & Erik below.
Unfortunately, the gold candle holders pictured above seem to be out of stock on the Zara website but I'll update this if I can find another place to buy them!

Have another lovely week everyone and please do send me any brands you come across that you think I ought to know about!
