Monday Moodboards- Puglian Summer- April 20th 2020

A few days ago, a lovely wedding client of mine made the tricky decision to have to postpone her wedding until next year. With some travel restrictions likely to still be in place and everyones health and safety at the top of our agenda, together we've made arrangements for her beautiful Italian countryside wedding to take place next Summer instead. With my head and heart still bursting with ideas and images of our plans for the space (which is an insanely gorgeous Italian Masseria), I thought I'd indulge in looking forward to a Puglian Summer for this week's Monday moodboard tablescape inspiration.
1. First Up - Ceramics - some classic Puglian tableware. Sometimes called 'splashware' ceramics or known traditionally as Grottaglie style ceramics.
Grottaglie is a Puglian town, known as the Mecca for ceramics lovers.

2.Glassware - coloured glassware for a fun, playful look.

3.Linens. A contemporary pop of colour for that beach-side holiday feel in the form of brightly coloured napkins. I'd pair them with a simple white-washed linen tablecloth or even straight onto a rustic wooden table.

4.Cutlery - Hand-carved olive wood serving spoons

5.Candles
