MOST CURIOUS WEDDING SHOW -MANCHESTER 2020 - THE ROUND UP
If you've never heard of Most Curious, they are the industry cheerleaders and hub of all things modern weddings. They aim to showcase and support a diverse range of creative, modern wedding suppliers for style-savvy couples looking for something a little different for their wedding celebrations. They hold the biggest Indie bridal events across the country and in 2020 they've got shows in London, Manchester and Norwich.
The shows are always beautifully put together and with styled campaigns shot for each year, the exhibitors are encouraged to style their stands to the overall Most Curious theme, which this year was florality and patternity.
We applied for Most Curious as BridalNEXT exhibitors and were beyond excited to be accepted to exhibit at their Manchester show. Topped off by the fact we actually WON 1st place in the BridalNEXT Services category sponsored by wedding royalty Love My Dress!! BEST NEWS EVER!
We had a wonderful day meeting some of the biggest names in the wedding industry and a whole array of uber-talented wedding creatives, not to mention all the lovely couples who came through the doors to chat to us. Special thanks to our amazing stand neighbours, the fab couple behind G & T Film for all the laughs and tears of joy at your simply amazing films.
There were some awesome stands about, including the ever wonderful textile artist and prop stylist Mariel Obsorn who was also dressed in an insane sparkly tasseled cape and the guys over at Frog MCR who installed an EPIC catwalk display.
We'd been planning the look for our stand for months, taking advantage of the opportunity to go totally floral overboard, with a vintage Sanderson print tablecloth, beautiful Moroccan green glassware, pink plates and cutlery and a pretty over the top, dried flower meadow. (which we may have repurposed as the entrance to our new studio space just for fun..!)
Above (and below) are some images from our tablescapes shoot in preparation for the show, shot by the ever talented Joanne Eliza Photography, along with a round up of some of our favourite images and exhibitors from the show- Enjoy!
