'Holding onto Hope' was painted with the intention to uplift and evoke joy. Rosie is forever intrigued with the meaning and symbolism behind flowers, and the sunflower stands as a symbol of hope.

"An important thing to remember, especially now we've moved into the darker seasons - the sun will shine again and bring its warmth to us all." 

Rosie Harbottle is an artist and illustrator creating on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon. Mixed with a deep appreciation for her local area, and an upbringing rooted in nature and folk music, Rosie uses a combination of rich colours, mark making and brush strokes to create pieces that explore how it feels to surround yourself with nature and the deep happiness that can bring.
